Most of the ferries were small and intimate, but this one took on buses and other vehicles and had all sorts of lounges, shops, and other accommodations. As it was a cold, rainy day the only people who shared the time I spent outside were smokers.

Lining up indoors for this ferry was an example of why it was hard to stay Covid safe. There are few people with masks in this photo,
but even that number was unusual in Scotland.
