Most of our days were sunny so umbrellas were mainly seen in cafés, providing shade.

But of course there was rain.

Most notable of the rains came as we explored the Glasgow Necropolis.

It's difficult to take photographs while holding up an umbrella. Sometimes the umbrella ends up on the ground, and the photograph is still hard to frame.
