The airport was making the international news for piles of luggage left all over, but that was for people flying into Heathrow so I wasn't worried about losing anything. Treacle tart, Harry Potter's favorite, was on a menu in the airport: the first time I'd seen it. I had wanted to try treacle tart, so I bought a serving to go and found a seat far away from others. I don't think it was a good example of the tart, but I ate it and was ready to find my gate. I pulled my trusty raincoat through the handles of my carry on bag and took off on the interminable journey to the gate. When I found the gate I realized that my beloved black raincoat was gone. It was too late to try to go back and look for it. Did you know it costs $39 just to register with air travel lost and found? And my coat was never turned in. Ah well. I hope whoever ended up with it appreciates it. |

These puffy little clouds over small fields seemed very English to me. Sort of like the Hobbit Shire. But soon a variety of regular clouds took over. Homeward bound. |
