Movies
I make it a point to know as little as possible about movies before I see them. So when I took my preteen daughter to see Clueless I had no idea that it’s a retelling of Jane Austen’s Emma. First there was one coincidence. Then another. I started noticing how very much like Emma… When we got out of the movie we went to get a bite to eat, and I said, “Do you want to go back and watch it again?” And we did.
My husband-to-be took me to see Bread and Chocolate on our first date, an excellent beginning.
Movies were our thing. We got married in a movie theater: our guests threw popcorn instead of rice.
