All of these images were, or could have been, taken in 2024... except:
Day 2: The three bottom images are from the family gathering in 2023 to scatter Michael's ashes.
Day 3: Peaches, my first successful watercolor, was painted circa 1970.
Day 7: The photograph of my parents was taken in WWII. The Eric Diehl painting of my brother was done in 2021.
Day 13: Taking photographing is verboten in theaters. This is from their website.
Day 15: Most of the flowers are from my house on Taylor Street. But I scanned the photos in 2024, from a box labeled Garden.
Day 18: The photo is obviously quite old, but Susan and I discovered it in 2024.
Day 19: I painted the watercolors circa 2005.
Additional notes:
Day 15: Please think about the heavenly, nostalgic scents of roses, peonies, and lilacs: many aromas are reasons to live.
Day 24: We gathered for the total eclipse at Pymatuning State Park in north eastern Ohio.
Day 31: The words at the top are aspirational. 19th century Caucasian Kazakh wool hand-knotted area rug. The restaurant is New Pot.
