McCormick House Museum at Cantigny

I have worked closely with the McCormick House staff to develop texts and designs for a variety of interpretive projects.

Visitors to the historic home gather in McCormick's art deco theater while waiting for tours to begin. The challenge was to integrate extensive signage with the perferated silver wall panels and gold decorative details.

A small room in the house is dedicated to exploring the history of McCormick's grandfather Joseph Medill, a journalist who openly supported Abraham Lincoln. How does this relate to our attitude toward journalism today?

The room's design and contents are quite unlike the deco theater space.
